Frequently asked questions

What types of projects does Transbuild Commercial deliver?

Transbuild Commercial delivers a wide range of projects, from single buildings to large, multi-building developments. Our experience spans commercial and office environments, residential developments, education, retirement living, defence, community and social housing, and iwi-led projects.

How long does it take to deliver a Transbuild building?

Depending on scope, buildings are constructed off-site in as little as 8–10 weeks. Because manufacturing happens in parallel with site works, overall project timelines are significantly reduced compared to a typical on-site build.

Can buildings be customised to suit our brief?

Yes. Our in-house architects can adapt existing plans, work with your own plans, or design a fully custom solution to suit your brief and project requirements.

What does off-site manufacturing mean for our project?

Off-site manufacturing means buildings are constructed in a controlled factory environment before delivery to site. This improves build quality, reduces delays, and provides greater certainty around timeframes and costs.

What is included in a turnkey delivery?

Turnkey means a complete, ready-to-use solution. Depending on scope, this can include off-site construction, delivery and installation, and the coordination of site works such as foundations, ramps, stairs, decking, and access solutions through to handover.
