Who are you and what do you do?

Transbuild is proudly a New Zealand-owned and operated business that has been redefining the way homes and buildings are built since 2012. What are you doing that’s different?

We manufacture large homes and buildings at scale in our purpose-built factory. Traditionally, prefabricated buildings have been small and poorly spec’d. We’re doing things differently – our buildings are finished to a high quality, ranging in size from 65m2 to 160m2. You can have your building transported to your site anywhere in the North Island within months, not years.

How does the process differ from building on site?

Building on site can be lengthy and susceptible to delays, resulting in higher costs and budget blowouts. Some clients come to us thinking our homes are part-built and need to be completed on site, but in fact the buildings leave the factory fully completed, ready to be installed on piles and connected to services. We offer our clients a fixed price and guaranteed delivery date, which is a rare commitment in the industry. Our entire process is streamlined for efficiency, having all the materials and trades operating within a factory-controlled environment.

What assurance do I have as a customer?

The confidence of a fixed price and a guaranteed delivery date of your home or bach gets you and your family living faster. A Transbuild solution removes all construction-related risks, weather delays and compliance costs, with the benefit of having one point of contact and accountability. Our buildings leave our facility with Code of Compliance, and we oversee the transportation and on-site installation onto the foundations. Our buildings undergo a robust quality assessment complimented by a 10-year Master Builders Guarantee.
