Architecturally designed transportable homes built for lifestyle blocks, farms, and rural properties across the North Island. Fixed price. 12-week build. Delivered to your section.
You probably have three questions. We've got the answers.
Can I get it to my site?
Probably yes — and we can find out fast. We offer instant site check that confirms road access and site suitability on the spot. You don’t have to wait weeks for a site assessment. Our homes are transported by specialist house-moving trucks, so as long as there’s reasonable road access to your property, we can almost certainly get there. We deliver across the North Island, and every plan can be flipped and mirrored to suit your section orientation. Not sure? Come in and we’ll check your site together – for free, no obligation.
Is it in my budget?
It might be closer than you think. Our homes are priced from approximately $199,000 through to $463,000 – all fixed price, GST inclusive, ex-yard.
The McKenzie 120 starts from $327,000 incl. GST (home only).
Every home is built to a solid standard specification. The McKenzie 120 has been designed to deliver rural liveability at an achievable price point — and optional upgrades are available if you’d like to personalise further.
We’ll walk you through everything when you visit. To get a full delivered cost to your site — including delivery, piles and foundations — the best next step is a no-obligation project estimate. We’ll give you the complete number before you commit to anything.
We also work with a trusted broker network that specialises in financing transportable and rural homes, so if you’re unsure about the finance side, we can point you in the right direction.
Does it tick all my boxes?
Come and walk through it — that’s when it clicks for most people. We have three show homes set up at our Drury facility, and there’s always something in production in the factory so you can see exactly how it’s built.
The McKenzie 120 was designed specifically for rural life. It has a dedicated office with hard-wearing flooring so the working day stays where it belongs, a laundry designed as a proper transition zone for wet gear and boots, and a master retreat at one end with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. At the other end, two more bedrooms and a family bathroom. It’s a home that works as hard as you do.
And if you want us to handle everything from the ground up — we can do that too. Our Site Works Package brings your home and all your land preparation into one fixed-price contract. Excavation, driveways, water and wastewater connections, decking, rural systems, consents — right through to your Code of Compliance Certificate. One team, one contract, seamless from start to finish.
When you visit, we’ll also do an instant site check and give you a same-day project estimate including delivered cost. You’ll leave knowing whether it works – on every level.

Most homes are designed for a suburb. The McKenzie was designed for a farm. The dedicated office sits off the hallway with hard-wearing flooring – so the working day stays there, not trailing through the rest of the house. Right next to it is a lockable storage cupboard for the essentials you need secure.
The laundry connects directly outside and works as a proper transition zone: tub, coat storage, and a clear path to the bathroom and kitchen. Wet gear, boots, and the day’s work get dealt with before you step into the main home.
At the centre of the house, an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge with elevated ceilings gives the home room to breathe. There’s provision for a future fireplace when you’re ready for it. The master retreat sits at one end – private, with its own ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. At the other end, two more bedrooms with full wardrobes share a family bathroom.
It’s a home that was thought through for rural life, not adapted for it.
